The Undergraduate Council recommends policies and procedures to guide undergraduate education including program design and implementation, evaluation, and modifications or alterations of courses and programs.
Teacher Education Council
Coordinators of teacher education program across the university meet monthly during the academic year to advise the Director of Teacher Education on policies, procedures, and curriculum in teacher education. They also create and review assessments to ensure that teacher candidates have the knowledge, skills, and disposition to work in schools.
Diversity Committee
Prior to the development of the new College of Education, Health, and Human Services (EHHS) in 2005, the faculty and administration of the College and Graduate School of Education had been involved in a variety of diversity initiatives. Thus, current efforts of the College Diversity Committee are only the latest in a series of projects to attend to issues of diversity in the College.
