Kent State University Assignment and Grading Policy

In order to earn graduate credit from Kent State University, you must complete the following assignment and submit it within two weeks of the end of your workshop.

Please respond in the form of a thoughtful essay of approximately three pages to one of the following prompts:

  • Explain from the information gained at this workshop what are the significant components of best assessment practices.
  • Describe the manners in which you will change the day to day collaborative practices that you will employ in your classroom to improve your professional practice.
  • Describe how you will incorporate the International Baccalaureate philosophy of internationalism into your classroom. Cite specific examples.
  • Describe how differentiated instruction and grouping will be implemented in your classroom.

Your paper will be graded on the basis of satisfactory or unsatisfactory completion of the assignment. Please submit your paper to the following e-mail address: lfrobert@kent.edu. All papers will be returned to the author in a timely manner.

Grades will be posted at the end of fall term;fall in late December, spring in mid May
and summer in late August. Instructions for retrieving grades. You may order transcripts online or by calling the registrar at 330.672.3131.
