Instructional technology certification program
Location: Salem Campus: TBA
This 15-credit hour certificate program provides you the tools, skills and knowledge required to integrate technology effectively into your classroom. The certificate can follow up on your master's degree, or you can use the credit toward a Master's in Instructional Technology from Kent State.
There are five graduate-level courses, either online or on-site:
- Technology and Learning
- Digital Video in Education
- Computer Applications in Education
- Instructional Applications of the Internet
- Emerging Technologies
Gifted Endorsement
Location: Lake-Uniontown, OH : Fall 2008- Summer 2009
Series of 6 master’s level courses (18 hours) leading to a Gifted Education Endorsement (Complete Masters is 32 hours):
- Nature and Needs of Gifted Students
- Social/Emotional Aspects of Gifted Students
- Instructional Processes: Gifted
- Gifted Program Design and Administration
- Advanced Practicum
- Curriculum Development for Gifted Learners.
All master's level students must be admitted to the College and Graduate School of Education prior to beginning coursework.

- Your grades will not be posted until the end of the term.
- No paper grades will be sent. You may access your grades at flashline > student tools (login via KSU home page) . You may also access information on your bursar's account at this site.
